About

The Krohn Racing team was formed by Tracy W. Krohn in late 2005. The team has raced in several different series since its formation, including Grand-Am, where Krohn Racing racked up five victories, four poles, and the Driver's Championship (2006). Krohn Racing had a cooperative racing effort with Risi Competizione to finish on the podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans two times (2007 – 2nd, 2009 – 3rd), and with a further 3rd place as the independent Krohn Racing team (2012).

Krohn Racing competed in the 2011 FIA Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (ILMC) and took two victories in the GTE-AM class at Sebring and Petit Le Mans and a podium in China and was second in the GTE-Am championships. The team competed full-time in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) for two years (2012-2013) and celebrated four podiums. In 2013 they competed in selected races in the IMSA TUDOR series and FIA WEC.

For 2015 Krohn Racing is fielding a new Ligier JS P2 Judd power LMP2 car in the ELMS and selected IMSA TUDOR races.
