Krohn Racing spent Wednesday and Thursday, February 8-9, of this week at Sebring International Raceway with other American Le Mans Series (ALMS) and World Endurance Championship (WEC) competitors testing their race cars in preparation for the 60th anniversary of the 12 Hours of Sebring. For many, this is the first test for their new cars.

The Krohn Racing Team came to Spa this week with high hopes for a podium finish, maybe even a victory in the 6 Hours of Spa race. Those hopes were dashed as the cold and rainy Belgium weather played havoc on the tires and race set-up. Tracy W. The No. 57 Krohn Racing GTE-Am Team had high hopes for a podium finish at the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo race at the Interlagos circuit today. Those hopes were dashed on the first lap when Krohn starting driver Michele Rugolo had no place to go when two Prototypes spun in Turn Four. He ended up punting the rear of the No. 61 Ferrari. The resulting damage was severe to the chassis, causing the popular team to retire after a thorough assessment of the damage.

Krohn, Nic Jönsson and Michele Rugolo just celebrated a third place finish in the last month's 6 Hours of Bahrain and are determined to collect a victory at Fuji.
Michele Rugolo qualified the No. 57 Krohn Racing Ferrari F458 second on the grid in the GTE-Am class for tomorrow's World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Fuji race. Rugolo's time of 1:41.701 was only bettered by Jean-Philippe Belloc in the No. 70 Larbre Corvette with a time of 1:41.386 to take the GTE-Am pole.
The Krohn Racing Team scored another podium finish today in the GTE-Am class at the 6 Hours of Fuji race at the Fuji International Speedway with a four-pit stop strategy. Qualifying driver Michele Rugolo started the No. 57 Krohn Ferrari from the second position in class and 23rd overall. He was able to become the class leader before his first pit stop to turn the reigns over to team owner/driver Tracy W. Krohn, who maintained a solid second in class drive. Rugolo drove the middle stint and then gave the Ferrari to Nic Jönsson before the four-hour mark to finish the race.
I am on a 14 hour flight back home from the seventh round of the WEC at Fuji Speedway (Japan). This race has been something I've been very excited and anxious to go to, with the reason being that I lived and raced in Japan back in the beginning of the 90's for the Honda "Mugen" factory in both F 3 and Super GT.
As the FIA World Endurance Championship finale descends upon the Shanghai International Raceway, the popular Krohn Racing GTE-Am team hopes to ascend to the top of the podium for its first victory of the season. The layout of the 5.451 km (3.387 mile) circuit, located in the Jiading District of Shanghai in China, was inspired from the Chinese character shang (?), the first character in the name of the city of Shanghai, meaning "above" or "ascend".

The Krohn Racing Team celebrated another podium finish today in the World Endurance Championship GTE-Am class at the 6 Hours of Shanghai race, their fifth podium in eight races this season. The No. 57 Krohn Racing Ferrari scored a third-place finish today at Shanghai International Circuit, as they had previously at Le Mans, Silverstone and Bahrain.
They earned a second-place at the penultimate race at the 6 Hours of Fuji earlier this month.
